[this one goes out to my best bro stephen garrison and his lovely wife emma]...so...ive been a little busy and i havent posted in a while...sorry...i place my GOD, my wife, my students, and sleep above writing posts at this point in my life...however, it doesnt totally excuse me not writing a little bit each week...this is not a new years resolution or anything, its just an i will try harder statement...i am sitting in leesburg, virginia right now after being in greenville, south carolina for a very short trip...ive been back in america from south korea since 19 dec 2009 for Christmas break and was planning on staying in greenville from sunday evening until thursdaymornign...however, my wifes grandpa "pawpaw" passed away monday morning...we rented a car drove from there to here for a service tomorrow before we fly out on friday morning...its a little crazy, but what would life be without craziness...(i dont want to know, actually)...pawpaw was probably one of the Godliest men i have ever met...he preached a sermon at the church he pastored for and "retired" from the ministry from on prayer and importance of it to life and ministry...his text was Ephesians 3:13-21 and every other statement in the message was a passage from the Word of GOD; the HOLY SPIRIT worked through this in my life to prepare me for my new life as a husband starting a new job as a teacher in the new (to me at least) country of sourth korea...as i strive to be more like CHRIST, i praise GOD for faithful men who are and now have run before me...the light of their faith burning with the fire of their devotion are lining the path of the straight and narrow that seems ever so lonely sometimes...pawpaw said as i already know that prayer is hard work; so let us pray for strength to pray as it shows our dependence on GOD as His humble servants...1 Thessalonians 5:17...James 5:16...
